Top Marques 2013 – Part 2

During my visit to the Top Marques 2013 jewelry exhibition I came across a wonderful Milano based jewelry store La Piramide, which specializes in natural pearl and rare jewels, such as vintage Tiffany & Co and Castellani. La Piramide showcased magnificent jewelry pieces, among others made with burma ruby and melo pearls shown here. The other Milano based jewelry brand Sabbadini, known world wide for their signature Bee Brooches presented a wonderful Rose Ruby brooch that caught my eye. Something Cool

Very cool piercing inspired one piece earrings by the Italian Delfina Delettrez. Made in many variations here shown my personal favorites: Sphere in 18kt white gold and 62 diamonds (0,65 CT), Sphere in 18 kt white gold, 19 diamonds (0,13 CT) and 43 black diamonds (0,67 CT), Bee in 18kt yellow gold, 19 diamonds (0,13 CT), 10 black diamonds (0,05 CT), 8 yellow sapphires (0,08 CT) and Lips in 18k yellow gold with 19 diamonds (0,13 CT) and 24 rubies (0,25 CT). All earrings are made with a Pearl lock. A little fashion item with diamonds to spice up your daily look.

Caribbean Flavor

If you think pearls are for old ladies, think again! Those extremely beautiful Conch Pearls pieces have nothing uncool about them. Shown here: a Vintage Edwardian Conch Pearl and Diamond 14kt platinum over gold ring, featuring oval shape light pink pearl and 16 old mine cut diamonds (1.00 CT), a Conch Pearl and Diamond Necklace in platinum, set with round brilliant and marquise-cut diamonds (14,00 CT) featuring 17 oval shaped pearls, A Conch Pearl and Diamond necklace by Mikimoto.
Conch are very rare natural saltwater pearls usually of pink color originating from Caribbean.
